Eric,
Congratulations. Your victory makes me feel especially good as I have always viewed you as a mentor. Good things do happen to nice guys, but they have to be pretty damn good.

Thanks everybody! Winning the Pro Solo Finale, the SR Pro Solo Championship, E Street at Nats, and then the Solo Triad all in one week still has not sunk in. The morale of the story is that once every two decades I have a good week. Tarheel has produced a lot of great drivers over the years who often have taken me to the woodshed. Those many beatings by many club members, past and present, definitely made me a better driver.

My better half (Chris) had a good showing in the Pro Solo series this year with 2 wins, a 2nd at the Finale, and winning the Ladies Challenge in Toledo. She finished 2nd in L2, losing the championship by just 1 point. She also took 3rd in the overall Ladies Challenge points and coming so close to winning it all. Of note, she beat me fair and square at the Toledo Pro. She skipped Nats to watch the girls so I could run ES - thanks Chris!

Congrats Eric! Spectacular week for you sir, well deserved! Now all you have to do is wait for all the endorsement money to start rolling in along w/ the talk shows... =) Seriously though, well driven and congratulations again, nice driving!

At last, Eric's controversial cross-legged driving technique has been vindicated!

Was sorry not to see her name in the ESL run group. I know she had a great season going, too. I will be watching for numerous occurrences of he Peterson duo at the top of the results pages in 2015!
