Thanks Art!

Awesome time and huge props to Noah for taking time of work to help design a course that he didn't even get shred.

Saturday's course was definitely my favorite all-time Danville setup and the first huge slalom was incredible. You almost had to start positioning the car before you exited the sweeper to avoid getting late. The last turnaround with the slick surface was extremely painful but patience was key there.

Glad we hit the $50k mark for the V Foundation and a TSCC/THSCC co-event has been long overdue.

Godspeed Jim and thanks for making so many of us quicker drivers.

It looks like they didn't use my PAX time when calculating places in the bump class. I had 52.189 as my best time and that's the time that they listed for my PAX time at the far right at http://www.auto-x.com/results/Jimmy_V/j ... 2.htm#bump (near the bottom, the #bump didn't actually scroll the page like it should)

But if you look at the day 2 results (or just calculate PAX yourself), I had a time of 43.473, good enough for 3rd in bump class. Also, the day 2 overall PAX results show that I was ahead of the 3rd place gentleman (Ross Pendergast-Pedersen): http://www.auto-x.com/results/Jimmy_V/j ... pax_d2.htm

I'm a sad panda. :-(

Maybe this should go into the season points thread, but how will the combined events with Triad affect season points? Are only THSCC members eligible to earn points in these events?

I talked to the TSCC guys and they said the points for THEIR event, it would stand as is, ergo, no pulling out of the THSCC drivers. I say we leave it as is for our points events as well considering there is a strong possibility that we will do more co-events....

In regard to season points, yes, only members in good standing (paid memberships) will be considered for season points EoY trophies.

And we will have our own results up both Day 1 and Day 2 once we are able to work out some details related to AXWare with Wes Emerson @ TSCC

Thanks to who all came out!

We don't remove drivers from other clubs at any other event, why do it for this one?

That's not the plan. We're splitting the event into two points events and posting the results as such, with all entrants included.

Fun times this weekend, thanks to everybody who made it happen. I wish I could have made it to more events this year - next year should be a little better in that regard.

Saturday was the first real test of the fancy rain gear I bought earlier in the year, and man that stuff works great. Very much worth the additional $$ versus the Walmart stuff I used to use.

Karl, feel free to stay away if you're going to continue to beat me by 0.019 secs

In seriousness, Great event! Lots of Fun! and Karl you need to come back so I can get my revenge!

I'm hoping to get to the NCAC, but don't know for sure yet.

I plan to be a bit more active next year. I've already got some improvements in mind for the ES car. I know they have a big fan base here in Tarheel, but I really dislike the Bilstein shocks I bought for this car (used, from a 99 Sport). Which makes it strange that I've bought another set of them. I might send them off to be revalved, but more likely, I'll just use the springs, upper mounts and lower perches on something...better. I told my wife that hey, it'll at least be cheaper than taking it up a class to STR!

Did I miss the answer to Keith's question? I'm guessing both?

Both days are points events. We are working on getting the AXWare data from TSCC working in our system and broken up into two days, that's why there is a delay in our results being posted.
