Did I miss the answer to Keith's question? I'm guessing both?

It's on the calendar as AutoX points events 6&7.

Do not change the weekend whatever you do, I'm making concrete plans based on the weekend right now. I would like to know what the format is going to be so I can plan one or both days. Brice I will take you offer under consideration, though I sold mine, I love NC Miata, would love to try one out on a suspension and R-comps, but it doesn't sound like you will be there yet.

Les,

The format is going to be two separate points events - with different courses each day. Triad is going to be bringing their equipment this time and will be helping us setup the course and run the event, and also working to get items for raffle, etc.

The MSR page for this is almost complete and should be up soon. I'll post a link in the usual places and update the Calendar when it's ready.

If plans are not in the way,we may bring the old E30 out to play.Mainly because while slow, it costs almost nothing to run it!
Hence the e30 love .Danville is a bit far to some..about a hour and change, but so good for racing on.LES! Man have not seen you in a while, how is your back and everything? I think hauling hte vette up from FLA would be a *(&()^&)*^. So I am sure someone will let you in, I will have to speak to my father..But as long as you dont mind a ride that is old,not always reliable, and no power steering...The old e30 is fun,its on coilovers so it is a go kart in the corners, and decent on the straights for a old car..Just not as fast as alot of cars these days, but when she is going right she is a riot. Also, very cheap track car too.

Thanks for the offer Pete, but I think I'm gonna try and drag my "new" race car up there, the solo vee I picked up a few weeks ago. I'm hoping the mileage will be better towing an 800 lb car vs. a 3300 lb car. I have two events I plan to run in it between now and then, so we shall see.

I can't wait to see the new car! I also want to see if I fit in it. I'd love to have a dedicated autox car....

Sorry Rodney, but I'll go ahead and break the news to you, you won't fit in it. I *barely* fit in it and I'm sure your wider at the shoulders than I. You'd probably be fine with legroom, but I doubt you'd fit in the roll cage. That being said, roll cages can be altered, if you were to get one you could probably make it work for you, but as this one sits, it would likely not.

So, can we leave car/trailer on site at Danville over night? Would that include Friday night?

Yes you can! However, I am unsure how long we will be setting up the course. When would you be arriving? I can probably meet you there if need be, I'm fairly close.

IN OTHER NEWS. REGISTRATION IS UP

Has a specific division of labor been agreed upon?

We're still working out the details... I'll post this in a separate thread soon. Since we own the MSR event, we have control over registration and money. We're working out the details with TSCC...

Guys, this is getting exciting. We've scored some great stuff so far for the raffle during the autocross. To list a few:

Passes for both THSCC autocross and Rallycross programs
Discounts on the THSCC Track program and from Discount tire
Passes from GoPro MotorPlex, VIR Kart Track, and Rush Hour Karting
Free weekend rental of a Mini of your choice, provided by Flow Mini
and much more,

Can a couple folks commit to being the "Event Chairs" and assist TSCC with course setup Friday and Saturday?

Derek, I believe you created magnets already? Currently we have First Place trophies in the works as pint glasses, but we need to ensure we have magnets for the rest of the places, and enough for two days.\

Best,

Need help!

Both Rob and I are unavailable to be at the Jimmy, so we will need 1-2 folks to stand in as Novice coordinator. Just do the Novice walk/talk, and be intentionally available for ridealongs!

Thanks!
