We will be holding points event #4 the weekend of July 13 at Danville. We need event chairs ASAP!

The Jimmy V benefit Autocross will be moved to September 13-14, but will also be at Danville. MANY more details to come on that. This should be our biggest Jimmy V benefit event ever. This will be a combined Jim Feinberg memorial/Jimmy V benefit, including some unique twists that should make for great fun.

This event will be co-hosted by Triad and THSCC, bringing the two clubs together to honor a great former member of both clubs, to have a lot of fun, and raise money for a great charity.

So July will be #4 and September will be #5&6?
Will there be any other AutoX events this year?
Also, need to update Motorsportreg.

I was really hoping we could make this happen. Thanks for working with Triad to mash up our events. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

Give us just a sec to get things worked out RE motorsportsreg. I need others help there. As to the website, I've emailed the webmaster. Mike, we'll work things out with you, don't worry. Your card isn't billed until we close registration, so its easy to fix that.

We do have an event in late August at Piedmont scheduled.

Yep! We will correct and double day registrations once we start the process of processing cards, so don't worry there. The MSR site should be done and done. We are working on getting the Calendar working on the THSCC site.

I am confused. Is the official autocross Sunday only? What are we doing on Saturday?

As the previous post from Brice mentioned, this is a Sunday only event. We moved the Jimmy V to September for the following reasons:

-We have been having trouble getting sponsors to provide raffle items and work through other logistics specific to Jimmy V
-This is the 10th year of this event and we want to make sure it's as best as possible. As it stood just prior to Points #3, we decided that we were not able to get this event arranged in a fashion we were happy with in time for this coming weekend.
-Triad is joining forces with us in September to make the JimmyV event the biggest ever!

This Points #4 event, is a single day points event located at Danville:

Best,

Edited your post Noah, this will be the 10th yr, not the 15th.

Best,

I guess I had the idea of a two-day event stuck in my head and didn't read Brice's posting very carefully. Since I cleared my calendar for Saturday, I'll step up and serve as one of the event chairs. Hopefully you guys have already picked the event name and have the dash plaques ordered.

Awesome, Thanks Art! Yes we're working on the plaques now.

Registered in FS. Note Motorsports Reg is not showing entries by class . . . at least right now.

FYI: Triad has a Sunday event in Winston-Salem on the 13th so no crossover.

Thanks!

Dick, Thanks - I changed the way the entries are displayed. They are now grouped by class. We are also aware that Triad has an event the same day, we tried to work something out with them, but it fell through. They are going to help us with the Jimmy V which has been moved to September, instead.
