Don't know if anyone was interested in this but figured I would post it while it is still available:

http://www.groupon.com/deals/the-motors ... 31ed1e6348

I'm actually tempted to do it - cheaper than buying my own. I'm sure they won't let me really push the car hard though.

I was given this as a gift when they came to town before. Here is my experience. The tires were shot on the car, the lot is tiny and full of rocks, and they scold you if you spin the tires. They won't even let you shift into second gear. They reach over and hit the up shift paddle for you. You never get over about 50% throttle. At least in the ferrari. Maybe it was better in the AWD Lamborghini?

I had more fun when I paid for Fun runs and drove my own car.

Also, they expect you to tip the instructor 10% of their normal price! Which is somewhere around $1000.

Well that doesn't sound fun. Thanks for the input.

Except for the fact that you are probably more skilled than the instructor, so why don't they tip you?

Here's the last time we covered this: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=13999

I mean, if you can't rev it past 5K, it better be a diesel or something.

Because we couldn't possibly run 100 cars in this parking lot

And because they are probably paying a stupid amount for a stupid lot. Biggest lot I see at the fairgrounds is about 250x250.

Anything is possible, its just a question of money. I bet we could shut down walmart for a day and use their parking lot. Might be an expensive rental fee.

Rob, if you've got ideas where to call, by all means feel free, or point me in their direction.
