At least the course workers usually have bright vests. To make them easier to hit? What is the purpose of the tennis balls on top of some cones?

If the ball fall off the cone it’s a penalty. They even put a string between the cone and the ball that she doesn’t wander too far away.

I didn't watch all of the videos, but it leaves me with the impression of...

Europe..

Pro
Ability to load up your track car and drive to great tracks such as Nurburgring or Spa!

Con
The autocrossing sucks


To be fair, I suspect they likely have difficulty securing large and open sites. I once autocrossed in this parking lot...

Plenty of curbs, trees and light poles. You basically would just slalom up and down each row with some potential for a chicago box or two.
