Congrats to Chris Peterson & Gwen Bakke Habenicht go 1-2 in L2 and both qualified for the Ladies Challenge. They were lined up against each other and had a good battle. Gwen cut into the lead substantially Sunday AM and made it close. Chris ended up as the #2 Qualifier from all the ladies classes. She ended up 3rd in the Challenge, ouch, after red lighting a 1.3 second advantage going into the 2nd side in the semi-finals. So close to having a chance to win it. And, that was Chris first time in the Spyder.

Great work to Gwen & my better half-Chris.

Jim Feinberg had to go to Bump Class and finished 2nd, but would have won SA. He made it to the final 8 in the challenge. So, he's now leading the SA points nationally.

I managed to win SR (Street tire rear drive cars) and made the final 4 of the Super Challenge. Unfortunately, coned away the win in the semis and did the same in the consolation round, but was just happy to make it that far. The courses were long 40 seconds per side, a good blend of speed and technical components. There was a really large offset, like a giant Chicago Box that I was able to do flat in 3rd gear once. Every other time it required a lift. Also, 5 & 6 cone slaloms, big sweeper, offsets, and more. Between the two of us we made 45 runs in the car. That included 7 on the practice course. So, we got a lot of seat time. The Toyos were pretty amazing on the concrete.

Looks like everyone is scrambling to chase you two in the Spyder this year. Stoked to see such good results on a "not quite where we want it" car. I am sure you will only get faster as the season progresses.
