I have tried finding a rear bumper in decent shape, it was missing when I got the car, I want to put it back on because with that weight missing the car will unload the rear tires and slide the rear tires, in turn making it really difficult to control. I appologize for what may have seemed like an attitude.
so it's like adding a big rear sway bar...sweet. it's not really my business, but who am i to keep from nosing my way in. honestly, everyone i'm pretty sure realizes that you running without the bumper isn't done to "cheat" or gain an advantage. the fact that it wasn't brought up until now is b/c trophying gets the attention of your competitors, espcially the ones you beat. rules are rules and as was discussed a few months ago, some follow them to the very letter and some follow them a little more "loosely". to avoid arguments about fairness and things like that, it's probably best to abide by the rules as quickly as you can.
just imagine if i accidentally had cams in a car i just bought and ran in stock class b/c i couldn't find stock cams to install. if anyone realized it, there would be a few questions and at the very least a request to run in SM.
