we're at 22 as of last night when I registered...What is the minimum we need to make it happen?

We will lose a decent amount of money with 50 drivers, 70 is break even....I'm probably going to pull the cord Monday the 4th if we have less than 50 preregistered.

FWIW, I would still pay more money to keep the event going.

I thought that officers + staff were paying since it's a non-points event.

Negative.... that's never been the case. Officers and staff get the free ride for ALL events as they should. The caveat there is autox VP's won't get free entry into a rallyx and vice-versa...

You are probably thinking of "season pass holders", where they would have to pay for non-points events.

I would have loved to have attended but I am hitting the track with Asphalt Adventures that day. I wonder how many other members are in the same boat as me.

Okay people, crunch time... Blast your facebook page and tell all your friends, family, and coworkers about the event! We will need to get more registrations soon in order to make the event a GO.

FB event: https://www.facebook.com/events/172204122975820/
Register: http://msreg.us/THSCC2013NONPOINTS

Also, we have set the registration list to be public, i.e. you do not have to be a registered driver in order to see the list. We had reports that it was previously confusing, causing people to think nobody was registered.

I've had one report of someone not being able to register, and I'm still working with them to determine what the issue was, but if anyone notices any hiccups in the registration process please let me know. It would be a shame to have to cancel the event due to lack of attendance caused by a glitch in the registration system.

Yup, if it were not for Stacy's event and our NEED to shake down our Lemons car, I would be at this event.

I registered 2 people, I think?

To be a curmudgeon I really dislike the move to motorsportsreg.com. I'm sure if we are forced to use it, I'll get used to it, but I'm really not seeing any benefits as a customer. Seems clunkly and hard to use compared to even Tarheels in house system. At least it costs more??

Yes, you and Samantha are registered. And now that you have a vehicle profile and driver profiles set up on MSR, you just choose them from a dropdown list and you'll be able to register very quickly for future events. We also plan to integrate membership renewals (with online payment) and automate event pricing based on membership status in the future as well. These are some benefits that come to mind, plus we have the support of some talented individuals at MSR and we will benefit from any features they add to the system in the future.

Thanks for the feedback. :)

Yes, since I’m all setup in MSR it was real easy to register. Membership renewal sound good too.

I just spammed a few guys on miataturbo that are in RDU, I'll see if I can track down my coworkers with the RX-8, BMW, and S2000 (blue one that almost took out the cheap side) from last time.
