We need 2 event chairs.

Event chairs get free entry and the ability to design a course with a 10 pace 15 cone slalom if they so choose. The only thing you CAN'T do is make a turnaround on the main straight outside of the VDA (since it inevitably leads to agricultural excusrsions, grass damage, and occasional Lotus clamshell breakage).

I absolutely guarantee you that I could make certainly a Lotus and even a Corvette pivot around that cone without dropping a wheel in the grass, you just have to slow down, pretty simple. But anyway, that is bygone history and I live in Florida now and we certainly don't want to tear up NCCARs grass. Also, I'm pretty sure a 10 pace slalom would be illegal. And no, I'm not volunteering to event chair. :D

A 10 pace slalom would be illegal PER SCCA RULES but remember!!!!! We aren't the SCCA, we live by our own rules (that bear a remarkable similarity to SCCA rules). I can see Jeremy Gast volunteering to chair now with a course design with 2 pace wide lane change manuevers.

Jordan can't take off that Friday, but I should be able to get the day off. I'll be happy to co-chair w/ someone. Just remember my past involvement w/ working at NCCAR usually resulted in rain.... 8)

I can co-chair as long as it doesn't rain. Maybe I should wait till I see the forecast before I commit. :D

OK, so Marcus, Rodney, do we have commits to chair? We're gonna need dash plaque info and such. Rodney, I have your email. Marcus, please PM me yours so we can chat offline about event prep. Your GM will be either me or Zach.

I don't believe Marcus exists anyway, so I wouldn't put 2 cents on this bet....

He's worried that if it rains, he might actually spin his tires on the launch.

OK, so since Marcus is a floozy, we need a second confirmed event chair to help Rodney.
