Been auto-crossing on and OFF for a while now, yet I find myself driving more OFF than ON.

Maybe in honor of autocross on a military base, you could bring some grenades.

I'm still waiting on my motor mounts to arrive. Not happy right now.... If they don't arrive by tomorrow, I won't make it :thumbsdown:

A few notes for all attendees this weekend:

NCR has been very nice and accommodating to let THSCC run a joint event with them this weekend. Even more so, the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point has been gracious enough to let NCR use their fantastic site to host autocross events. We want everyone to put their best foot forward this weekend while representing THSCC and NCR-SCCA and keep these relationships healthy.

A few important points to remember:
1. When entering the base, be ready to present photo identification to be verified against the event registration list. Also be sure your vehicle registration is up to date and legal.
2. DO NOT speed on base, this includes even 1 MPH over the speed limit. They have zero tolerance for this, so be smart and save the fast driving for the course.
3. It is illegal to use your cell phone while driving on base, don't do it.
4. Do not consume alcoholic beverages on base, even after the event. There will be plenty of opportunities for this at restaurants and hotel rooms each night.
5. If you brought it with you, you take take it home with you. If you see trash on site (even if it's not yours), please pick it up. This includes cigarette butts. We want to leave the site cleaner than when we arrived.

See you there!

<bummed face>

Parts didn't arrive today. 1 more day for USPS to deliver. Fingers crossed. Lesson learned about buying from 3rd party vendors from amazon. Sellers reply to my inquiry on the parts was lukewarm at best.
