We need one more Event Chair for the May 5th event.

I'm the GM and James is the only EC for the event thus far, please let us know if you are interested in coming up on Saturday and helping set up the course in Fayetteville! Ideally someone who has not worked as an event chair before! Get some experience!

We'll need you onsite on May 4th, the saturday before the event on May 5th. We usually start course set up around noon and leave when we are done (typically 4-6 hours). This involves setup, design, and testing of the course for the following day's point event. You'll receive free entry and will not have a worker assignment during the points even unless you want to help out.

Thanks!

I'm hoping to deepen the pool of ECs so please, if you haven't chaired an event and want to help do some course design and setup, please post up. I'll help you through it. You'll learn some about event logistics as well.

I'm driving the bus so I'll have a hotel room at which you can crash.

If you haven't chaired an event before I can highly recommend giving it a try. The club has a good group of officers who do a lot of the heavy lifting so it is something anyone can take on and be successful. If you've never designed a course before working with our group is a good way to learn. It will also give you insight into why courses are laid out the way they are, knowledge that can make you faster
