Feb 16-17 Test and Tune, Points #1 @ Danville

Guys,

It's almost that time again! In just over a month from now, this year's Test and Tune followed by our first Points event will be held at the usual site in Danville, VA.

Shawn Whipple and Jordan Normark will be chairing this event... Guys, We'll need to get started sometime Friday afternoon on the setup for the TNT. I can help with all of that.

We also are in need of a bus driver, so if you'd like to volunteer, that would be great. Comes with free entry to said event and two nights at a hotel since this event requires that the bus be onsite Friday so the event chairs can start setting up the course.

the bmw is signed up, as far as we know it runs good. We did road tests of it, and with some adjustments it runs fine.
So I hope my wrist will be healed by then..( i fell and landed on it) If so I will be there to run.

Who is doing both days? we really wanna do the first day, to shake down the bmw for future track event duty. The second day if it all goes well, we will be there too.

(last laugh)..... Actually I did, at least for this event. Brice will now be driving the bus for the TnT, but Jordan and I will be the bus rats for the novice school, so almost got out of it :mrgreen:

Yeah, I was just dumb. What time do you want to meet? I would probably want to put in a half day at work at least, so maybe meet you there around 2pm or so?

I just took the whole day off so I can get my car ready and such. I figured we could meet around noon or just after. If 2 is what works for you guys, that's cool too. I'm just concerned the sun goes down relatively early this time of year.

BMW CALL! Everyone who has a e30 to run bring it. We are bringing ours, it would be fun to have lots of e30s to run against in dsp tire. We are looking forward to running, but the bmw roll call is light. We need more e30s and such. Shoot dsp looks only a two horse race, DULL! Dad will probably beat me, seeing as i am a gravel guy. But we need more old iron to run with.

Ours should be easy to beat......NO POWER STEERING! nope, since it is essentially a track car, the power steering quit one time, so we removed it.
