I was wondering if there will be a circuit cross on the schedule this coming season? Is it even considerable?

Been auto-crossing on and OFF for a while now, yet I find myself driving more OFF than ON.

Not likely Steve as it's just not feasible from a financial standpoint, plus it seems half of our autocross posse drive convertibles with no rollover protection.

That said, check out the Grip Fest (Maybe Grip Syndicate) Facebook page as they seem to be having success running them at NCCAR for a reasonable entry fee. I'm considering doing one next year if I don't do a DE with our club at VIR.

Theoretically, there is no reason to not be able to run verts w/o rollbars in a circuit cross. Speeds would be moderated by gates so the danger of rollover is no greater than AX. The biggest limiting factor would be the cost of the event IMHO

the bmw should be done in not too long. it is a hard top with a bar, and some old belts but not too bad. we should be ok.
