So I fixed the timing box. Fuse holder joint broke due to the swapping and the fact that the hold down nut was loose so the whole holder was spinning. I secured the holder and resoldered the connector.
Pink timing cable is going to be a doozy. There was a short between the black conductor and the ground conductor so I chopped the heads of and it was still there

. So there is a short between the two ends. So it had to have happened between cleaning up at Piedmont and setup at NCCAR. Was there any slamming of wire in a door or driving over it this weekend?
I'm going to start unwinding it and looking for bad spots and chopping and then retesting. Unfortunately the bad spot might be closer to the inner head meaning I will have trial and error-ed to the point of completely wasting the whole cable.
