This video is from underneath the bullitt aimed at the drivers side from this past Piedmont dragway autox. At about 0:30 is my first run and then the drive down the access road. At about 4:00 is the 2nd run and at about 5:00 is the 3rd. I'm simply amazed at how violent that rear axle gets tossed around from torsion and up/down motion.

Cool! Looks like the driver's rear lifted on the final turn, or was that a white stripe on the lot at 1:06-7...how hard of a left hander was that?

There were 2 points where you, well at least I, needed to brake. Towards the end of the course, you went up the hill into a lane change, hard brake into a hard left turn and brake again into the final right. Very abrupt pavement change on the final right hander.

And that is why they call it a live axle!

Thanks for the video Rodney. You sure can tell when you hit that nasty bump at the bottom of the lot, in that right turn. I imagine that is where Les took a hit as it was pretty brutal in the 330 with 550lb/in springs in back. Back to the video -- it's hard to imagine the size and weight of that live axle moving all around like that all the time. I wonder what the weight is of the axle, springs, shocks, hubs, discs, calipers, wheels and tires is all total? Has to be a pretty big number.

I have videos of Chucks front right tire coming 3-4" off the ground. I'm going to try to process it and take a snap shot close up if I can.
