Planning on both days as well. Steve did ask a good question. We going to run our standard TIR class, or the RT class? That's going to make a big difference on where drivers class their cars. I have no problem running ESP if I need to.

Will a link be provided for registration?

Just a dumb chick question, Rodney. Is your Mustang stock? If it is, why are you driving ESP? If it's not, RT isn't an option. Just curious.
Thanx

You answered your question. RT only supports stock class so Rodney can't run RT with ESP pax. He'd have to run open. Our TIR class supports all paxes that are allowed to run race rubber (TIR-CM would be fun :) ).

Actually, the bullitt is a poorly prepped STX car and an even worse prepped ESP car. When I bought the bullitt, the PO had already done some modest suspension mods to it and I bought a set of 10" wheels from him when I bought the car. It was a deal too good to pass up. The 10" wide wheels throws the car into ESP. I thought about buying a set of 9" wheels, but then I'm limited to 265 tires. On that big heavy car, I'd over drive those in a heart beat. Contemplating some 315's for next year.

As for the RT question, that wasn't for me specifically, just in general. I know my car is not RT classable in it's current form. It may be an option for other drivers though.

We are having to tweak some items inside of motorsportsreg.com to facilitate NCAC (club declaration, t-shirt size, etc) and I will post it up on the front page as soon as it is up.

We are not running a tire class, just the RT classes that SCCA currently offers

Ouch, but at least we have an answer now.

Thanks John!

James,
When you get to know me better you'll know that question was my "Closer" way of telling Rodney that his car isn't legal for RT without "telling" him that his car isn't legal for RT.

His answer explained that it was a general, and not specific reference to RT. :)

I'll be there both days. Now I need to decide on the FP Mazda or RT bullitt. :-)

So...if there is a Club Cup competition, I have a strategizing question:

Would it be wise for us to convince Marcus/Carlton/Matt to run in RTR seeing as those are all basically BS-TIR cars with talented drivers? I haven't thought it through fully, (esp considering the possibility of an extra PAX modifier applied or not) but it could have meaningful impact on the outcome, especially if turnout from more western-based clubs is light.

STR is a softer pax than BS. Is there an extra PAX applied to RTR classes to get a pax that is comparable to the open class variant? Ie 0.975 or something?
