Another great event! The lot was bumpy, but the course was great. I really enjoyed coming out of the sweeper at the bottom of the lot, timing the throttle and trying to stay on it all the way up pucker mountain. 6 runs is awesome!
Les, chime in and let us know how your back is.
I went to Thomasville to visit family after I left since I was so close and just recently got back to Raleigh. I think I'll be fine though today was the most painful afternoon I've had in weeks, enough so that I decided to take one of my few remaining Oxycodones when I got home, which I haven't taken in a month, feeling great now!
Could have been a fun course and wish I could have made my runs, but just felt it wasn't a good idea after that first run, it was unbelievably BRUTAL in my car, my suspension works great on smooth pavement, but REALLY doesn't like bumps. I need to finish out the rear suspension with Banski suspension arms like Wally has, I have half of them now and they made a big difference. He has all of them and his car didn't look like it was as bad as mine. Yes, replacing poly bushing suspension arms with heim jointed ones actually improves the ride in the weird ass rear suspension on the C4. Oh yeah, and putting my adjustable Carrera shocks on the car rather than the super stiff ass non-adjustable Bilsteins that are currently on the car would probably have helped as well.
Really though I need to put some springs/shocks/sways on the Miata and get spare set of wheels and race tires as well so that I can have it as an option at some of our new tighter lots.
