To be on the safe side you should register by midnight Thursday night. I will close registration Friday morning, but it could be as early as 5am or something like that.

Thanks!!!

only 50 signups for each day, with one day to go...

OTOH, that means either more runs per driver, or more revenue/contribution per driver for the walk-ups

Maybe consider extending pre-reg deadline to Friday? Just a thought.

Judi and I are leaving with the bus Friday around noonish, so registration has to be closed and downloaded before then.

Sorry if I missed this detail somewhere, does the coliseum charge a fee for entering the site?

Thanks!

FYI I just deleted my entries for the Jimmy V event (both days). Too much house/yard/van stuff to do prior to leaving for the Toledo Pro and Peru Tour.

Sorry you won't be able to make it Dick, but understand priorities.

In that vain, come on folks, SIGN UP! We only have about ~50 drives for each day! At this rate we'll very little to turn over to the Jimmy V Cancer research. If you're on the fence, then hop off and sign up....PLEASE!!

Great day Saturday, hope ya'll had a good Sunday.

Props to JW & SW on a quick yet technical course design. You really had to have the car in the right place at all times to be quick, but still had enough room for some Dorifto action.

Props to (Obligatory Kiss-Up) the AutoX VPs and all those that make this stuff happen.

Props to Brice for procurring the site, major coup` Dude. Let's hope it works out to using the larger lot, 35 miles from the house rocks.

Now, since no post of mine would be complete without a 'different" opinion; I have this to add. how about...................

The next time that a long time Club Sponsor (and in this case a long time Jimmy V event sponsor) shows up to one of our events with his two teenage kids in tow and there is a problem with the numbers on one of their cars we help them resolve their issue rather than bitch at them on the radio from the relative comfort of the bus as if they were just some other poor schmuck that paid their money to come run with us at one of our charity events.

It could easily be argued that the reason the air in the bus is so comfortable is due to the donations of our sponsors. While I am quite sure this particular sponsor doesn't expect special consideration I would suggest that the least we could have done was at least try to show our appreciation for the relative comfort of the club bus.

Now, since it is considered bad form to critique without offering a resolution to said complaint I offer this solution to the club.

Appoint me Senior VP (for life of course) in charge of Sponsor Relations. I will need a small budget, say $10K per season to fully show our sponsors how much we truly appreciate their generosity and support of the club's activities.

I await with much excitement this new path that we as a club now embark upon.

Oh, and cash only.

Ooh, didn't hear about that incident Steve, problem is not everyone in the bus recognizes who our sponsors are, but we will certainly apologize for that incident.

I would have never gotten a close site if I had known you would show up though :D

Great event. Even though I was only able to attend Saturday, I enjoyed it thoroughly. The course design was awesome and a great length for the lot. I doubt it could have been much longer without a crossover of some kind. Hat's off to the Tarheeler's that consistently pull off these great events.
