Unfortunately, a major crash while riding my MTB yesterday resulted in some broken ribs and a heavily bruised shoulder - so no chance of competing in the Huck on Sunday, and doubtful I'll even be able to drive my RX-8 by this weekend.

Sorry to hear that happened, Keith...Heal quickly!

Tough year for THSCC'ers. Get better quickly Keith so you can get back behind the wheel and on the trail! Cracked/broken ribs are no fun and I hope you make a strong recovery.

Wow, just read through the locked thread and this one. What a mess. :|

I'm pretty offended that anyone would be belittling the VP's efforts this year. The record speaks for itself halfway through the year: we've had fun, smooth events, and booked two new sites. Nuff said, you guys are doing a great job.

As for the Jimmy V format, it seems pretty clear to me: Non-points event on Saturday and points event on Sunday, different courses. Anyone who is looking for season points would be expecting a Sunday event anyway, and those who attend both days get more seat time. And we get to try two different configurations, which I think is important to get a feel for the new site, and will potentially allow for us to come up with a better course for Sunday (which will probably have the most attendance, at least from our regulars).

Thanks to all who have helped make this happen, I can't wait to autocross and see everyone this weekend! I'll be at the Holiday Inn Friday night with beer in-hand. :-D :beerbuds:

Well Gee-Willickers, gosh by golly, cute puppies and daisies Zach.

If this is the worst thing that ever offends you I would think your life will be all fuzzy bunnies and pretty kitties from here on out.

If anyone should be offended .................. because somehow I am accused of belittling the VPs everytime I post anything.

But, my mother taught me that no wound will ever heal as long as you keep picking at the scab.
