They probably give a pass to the good drivers, and make riffraff like me pay full rate

They're SCCA which may dictate what they can do. Join SCCA, problem solved. :D

May do that....I will be at 6 SCCA events this year, so it makes sense. Plus, I could finally write in, moan and complain about Toyos, crapcan Civics and whatnot. :deadhorse:

Actually, Triad isn't SCCA, but they recognize memberships from all the surrounding clubs and run by all the same rules. I run with Triad so much, I just joined anyway.

SCCA membership pays for itself pretty quickly.

sorry for the confusion...my offtopic comment was about NCR, not Triad.

How bad could the alignment be? You never heard the story of our alignment at Nationals last year. Lets just say it was a mystery...since we drove the car out of the shop in the middle of this dude trying to cover for really screwing up the car.

Ended up doing OK, as it turned out. :D

The only time I actually got my Civic Si aligned was right before I sold it because it was pulling right. Athough, with a little toe-out, I wished I did it sooner because it felt great.

See y'all on Sunday!

How bad could the alignment be....hmmmm I only removed, disassembled and reinstalled the entire steering rack so I could replace a bushing that was causing a rattle. I fixed the rattle but it pulls hard right with the R1R's on, not at all with the OEM tires crappy tires. Schedule has been re-arranged, I'll be there, I just gotta be there, its sooooo close to my house.

That's an easy fix. Your caster and camber should not have changed, just toe. Using the jack stands and sting method, you could probably check/set toe in the time it took to replace the bushings, or less.
