On my final run (58.4xx) I did the VDA section VERY well compared to my first 4 runs which basically meant patience and minimal dorifto and tame throttle modulation. Then I get to the slalom and try to squeeze an extra 3-4 mph out and get very late by the 4th cone and have to damn near stop before the c-box since I knew the run was good and not worth coning so I bog from 2500ish rpms through the cbox to the finish without even having to go to 3rd and yet the time was good. I'm pretty sure Jeremy's car had low 57s in it.
On my fastest run, I was hitting 50/56 the first pass and 54/58 the second pass. In the slaloms i entered around 46 and had to gradually slow down to 42 as I got a little late and had to compensate by left foot braking a little. It was a freaking ballerina dance driving that car, setup that way, in those conditions.

just curious...I thought the Cobalt SS at the event was a turbocharged one, and would be in STX, not STF. Even if non-turbo, it would be STS, (normally aspirated <3.1liter displacement NOC), no?
He has run stu, dsp, ds, stx and stf since he's started autocrossing. Mary indicates he lies to her about having a turbo. He's obviously confused

.
He said he took all the mods off, but it didn't sound like it when he was on the course. We need to print out the current classing rules for cars and have it in the bus at all times. I don't know classing for every car and I don't think anyone else here does either.
