Chris this isn't like you. I fully expect you to rig up some sort of speaker to play F1 sounds while you lap the traffic!

weather forecast for 70% chance of rain and T-storms on Sunday is not helping in the Dept of Enthusiasm....

OTOH, that may mean more runs per driver.

There is a pulse width modulation whine from the controller. I wonder if if gets into the 12V DC side.

For anyone volunteering this weekend...

Some employers will pay for your hours volunteered.
Please consider having your hours turned into dollars for the organization.
I will.

I had to leave because I didn't realize how cold it was going to be. NCCAR looks nice; just gotta wait for the weather to hold up next time.

PS: that S10 and the Fiero were cookin' it!

Yeah but hte black bmw was really going fast. It needs work to be perfect again, but it will be.. we have a misfire right now, dont know where. We think because it was wet, the distributor was jumping and not firing right. Otherwise it was a great run anyway.. We need some more real big sites soon. manual steering is not so bad for autocross.. Watching a leaf at a autocross is just strange.
How about that black chevy camaro huh? he was fun to watch.

My OEM-spec Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S tires run good all day.

Thanks to everyone who helped put on this event in spite of the wet, nasty weather. I hope nobody caught pneumonia from that.

Also, the barbeque sandwiches that Simon & co served were excellent!

Thanks to everyone who came out despite the awful weather, and a huge thanks to everyone who stuck around and helped clean up. I don't think I've ever been at an event where course cleanup took such a short amount of time.

It was raining when I rolled in at 7:45 and it rained all day long. Sometimes it rained harder, sometimes it rained lighter, and sometimes it rained sideways, but it was always raining.

Despite the rain, I'd have to say the EV event went really well. All the kids I saw had big smiles on their faces and at the end of the day thats what is important. I'd have to say Rodney and the VP's deserve a big thanks for showing up in the nasty conditions and putting on a great event for the EV challenge in spite of the weather.

I had a good time myself but my feet are still wet :D Whoever is in charge of ordering the weather needs to make sure the sunshine payment is made before the event :D

There is one nice thing about racing in the rain on a course that loops back on itself, the 2nd time through you can see exactly where your line was on the first lap.
