This is the call for novices to attend our umpteenth annual novice school. Peruse our results from the last few years and you will see that many of the winners of our coveted trophies.....well the winners of our coveted magnets with the winner's placing on it are graduates of one of our novice schools. This is the best opportunity for you to get a bunch of seat time and really hone some good habits. You will be taught by experienced autocrossers who will be there for one purpose - to teach.

So come out, bring your friends with cars and spend the day with us. We will be holding this at Danville which means we will be nearer to civilization. These schools fill up quickly so sign up early and sign up often

Rob

I've added an event to the THSCC faceblob for the novice school and 1st event and sent invites. What are we capping the novice school at? 60?

Right now, we were discussing capping at 40. If we end up getting enough instructor volunteers, we might up it from that. We really don't want more than a 2:1 instructor to student ratio.

Novices, Don't forget to register for the school. We will cap the enrollment. This is the best way to prepare for the season and get off to a good start. Don't worry about not having experience or modified car - you don't need either. Just bring a car that is roadworthy, we will teach you mad skilz.

Also, register for the Autocross the next day to solidify your newfound skills and have bragging rights over all your competitors.

We need to drum up interest for this event. Right now, Bin will have 12 instructors dedicated solely to him learning his S2000. PLEASE talk to anyone who you know who might be interested in coming out, without students, we won't be able to make this event happen.

I'm working on getting 2 more students to go. Wives are getting in the way.

Don't let them be part of the problem.....
Make them part of the solution... :D Bring them along.

Then we'll sign them up for the Chick school. :sing:

Come on folks, I know you are interested. Bin will wear out his tires with the 80 or 90 runs he will get. Steve, you ought to drop the kid off and go maybe she will be better than you

I was just about to post the link to novice school on FB, and I noticed that we're suggesting a hotel in Laurinburg. FYI.
