March 17th and 18th Novice school and Points #1 Danville (GM Brice: ECs: Rob Lupella and Liz Cordera)
April 22 Ev challenge and Points #2 NCCAR (GM James: ECs: Jeremy E)
May 6 Points #3 Danville (GM: Matt ECs: Zach, Marcus)
June 23rd and 24th Chick school and Points#4 Danville (GM Brice: ECs:Judi & Jennifer)
July 21 and 22 Points #5 and Jimmy V Benefit Crown Coliseum (GM Matt: ECs: Stephen & Judi)
August 4th #6 Piedmont Raceway (GM James: ECs: Team Frank?- Jeremy G/John & Courtney?)
September 16th Points #7 (GM Brice: ECs: Rob L & Rodney W)
October Date TBD Points #8 Crown Coliseum (GM James ECs: Jeremy E & Brice)
November non points TBD (probably Laurinburg) (GM perhaps shared??: ECs:)

In particular, we need an event chair for the 1st 3 events (well at least someone to help Rob for the Noob school and event).

Please volunteer, its a great experience, and you get to design the course to suit your specific car and earn the wrath of Remchak (if he actually shows up). If you've never done it before, no worries, its easy. You do get free entry into the event as well.

Edit: We typically only offer 2 free entries per event for event chairing. Of course, more people are welcome to help out for a given event, but we can't give out too many more than that and still remain solvent.

I said I would chair the first event with Rob. Also put me down for Points #7 w/ Kevin and Kourosh.

Unfortunately I must opt out of chairing the Test-n-Tune, but Jeremy Ellison has agreed to take my place.

I'd like to volunteer to chair Points #3 on May 6 (and I have no trips the preceding week, so I'll be sure to make it!).

Since you're volunteering for this event, there's a few special issues to make you aware of.

1) this will be a dual event w/ the EV challenge event again which means we'll run the EV drivers from 9-11 and our event starting at noon. We'll need a short and easy course for the EV drivers.

2) We had issues w/ our setup last year w/ the EV drivers having to push cars up the hill. We need to be cognizant of how we setup our course and how it impacts them. We also need to contact NCCAR and see if they can help out w/ a tow car. I'm sure I'll have some conversations started up in the next few weeks w/ NCCAR and the EV folks, so I'll bring this up.

3) allow design in your course to easily convert to our event by adding/removing a few cones. We can setup for our event from 11-noon.

You're on the list. Be aware that there is some possibility that Burlington will come through, so the location may change.
