I'm sure the hostname will be different than it was at the demo on Wednesday at the meeting. Also please mention about range and any other gotchas.
It will certainly be different.
1. Join the wireless access point named THSCC
2. Most likely the URL will be
http://tsThese names are tentative until I have my hands on the TS laptop.

we are completely honest in saying that until results are audited, they are truly unofficial and possibly wrong
+1 on this. This software can only read whatever is already in the AXware file. It can't divine whether someone in Timing and Scoring made a typo (it happens, we're human beings after all). That's why we have another person writing runs down by hand, and that's why there's an audit after runs are complete, before trophies.

One of the design goals was to minimize the involvement required of Timing & Scoring personnel. Don't pester them.

Does it link to the on-line membership data base yet?
No. It's designed to operate entirely without a connection to the public internet since the club doesn't have a wireless modem and most of our sites have poor cell coverage anyway. While you're connected to the THSCC wireless your phone apps that depend on a public internet connection (Facebook, email, web browsing, etc) probably won't work. Just disconnect from the THSCC wireless when you're finished looking at the results and everything will be back to normal.

If it shows your competitor having a two-tenths lead on you, perhaps you'll be inspired to pick up the pace.
