Well I should have the Mazda 3 by the first event of 2004. It likely with be put in GS having 180hp out of the new 2.3. I plan on running stickied right off the bat, but may not be up to full stock class specs by mid season. Having 65 more hp than my beetle, and being almost 200lbs lighter should be fun.

No LSD... if I find the car is not competitive nationally, then an LSD, 13x8" wheels with Hoosiers, and some other goodies aren't out of the question. - AB

We'll be waiting to see how the classing and PAX shakes out before making a decision. My inside contacts with the SEB say the GTS will remain in DS next year, if so it's likely we'll be in the same car. Donna will probably move to PRO next season to give Mary and I a chance to win.

I think I'll get some Carbotech brake shoes for the Mustang. That should be enough to rule ESP next year.

Probably the same thing I did this year. Look at the Prereg list on Fri and hope I see another F Stock, See none, and then look at the B Stock list to see who I will lose to after I get bumped. :whoknows:

Well I finally picked up some rims and Kumho VR 700's, and was actually able to fit 255/40's no problem. :D I think the STi likes the new tires as I found out while heat cycling them. Will likely get camber bolts installed to increase front negative camber and save tires. I know this will bump me to ESP, but it sounds like Art is in need of some more competition. Besides ESP is actually a better pax than AS

Well, pretty sure my plans have changed now (some of them, anyway  ).

The goals are same, but the car I'll be using to achieve those goals will probably have lots (and I mean LOTS) of stickers and stuff on it. Just hope I can get used to the turbo powah...

:help:

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Hmmm... I thought of a few things that I wanted to do to get ready for next year.

1. Get the LT4 complete upgrade and easily make it to 400hp. You can never have enough horsepower... A $3K upgrade.

2. Go to full coil overs, poly bushings, smart struts, etc. A $5K upgrade.

3. Fix the nut behind the wheel. Evolution school. A $300 upgrade.

I'm confused. Does your chance to win come at the events Mary doesn't show up at? ;-)

Well in case you haven't heard I've decided to keep the Type R for now.

And since I'm going to have the car, I'm planning on returning to the National scene for 2004. I'm thinking I'll run 2 or 3 national tours and the National Championships. I might try for some Pro-solo events as well if I can find the right co-drive.

There will probably be an upgrade the single adjustable Koni's to double adjustables over the Winter also.
