Just curious...why the lack of Sanford events? It's a close venue and usually well-attended.

We are waiting on Burlington to figure itself out. If it falls through, May will likely be in Sanford.

And also, we're looking into Sanford for the October event but lots of dates are taking so points #8 might be 11/4 but that's not cast in stone yet.

Interestingly enough, while Sanford tends to be better attended, financially we net better in Danville due to the 100% higher site costs at Sanford (obviously poisnt #1 last year was the exception ;)).

Hmmm if anyone should complain it would be me who actually attends AX and lives in BFE. The closest site to me is probably NCCAR. If it is a good site that is where I want to go. It would be great if we had one in Raleigh or nearer but those are difficult to get in this litigous climate. It certainly beats having the Novice school in Laurinberg with it's pavement (or should I say lack of pavement) issues and its distance from Raleigh.

I'm closer to NCCAR than any other current site, but if LB was still in good shape I'd choose it (even with a 2.5 drive One-way) over the rest.

I agree with that if it was still the big place that it was forever. The little part that we have used this year is just not like the old stuff!!!

Stay tuned, Laurinburg is our backup site for the Novice school if burlington falls through. . .

I enjoy this sport and I learned long, long ago that for me to enjoy it, I'm gonna have quite the haul. It doesn't really bother me, although I do miss the Greenville site

Fast autox on a road course where you start and stop at approximately the same point. Basically a cone demarcated time trial at slower speeds.

so there will be a course set up on the test track at NCCAR then?

do ya'll plan on making it challenging with line of sight trickery or has common sense intervened and ya'll might have a fast, safe and FUN course?

yeah, i know. some of you guys think a nine cone decreasing slalom is fun. so is rush hour traffic in Hong Kong i'd be willing to beat, but the scenery is way different. and i would much prefer to mow down rickshaws over cones.

:soap: cones suck.
