A big front is pushing through in Topeka right now. Hopefully it dries out soon. Most of the Tarheelers are running later, they might get lucky.

For reference, the fast times for CS cars on the north course (dry) are over 5 seconds faster than the BS times today.

Yeah I noticed when I drive rain tends to take a bit of grip from the roadway. Does that apply to autox courses too  . Might be an advantage for Tom's Sube though. Mark Chiles kicked ass I saw, congrats dude, PS will you be my instructor now??

Donna Frank is in 2nd place right now, not very far back (0.38 sec) from Anna Goeke in an AWD Audi. If the weather clears tomorrow I'd look for Donna to make up some of that time!

Dude ?!? WTF happened to Hoppe? 3 seconds off the lead after the first day?

Must be a problem.

The weather is really screwing things up big time. Aaron and Bryan are way out of it too. I *think* GH is actually in the top few spots of GS, but in typical SCCA fashion they have screwed the results up so we may never know.

Just cked the map. Looks like the front's passed, so, hopefully they'll have some good weather tomorrow. Hope our guys aren't just too far out of it to make up some of that time on dry pavement.

I'm not sure how good Anna Goeke is (I really only know her name), but I know first hand that Donna can pull some pretty darn good runs outta her boote'. And Patti's no slouch either; if she gets a little mad...watch out! I'm expecting both to do well tomorrow; you go girls! :cheer:

I think Aaron and Tom are so far out that it's hopeless, the best either could do is try to post one of the fastest times of the day, I think trophies are all but lost. Donna has the best shot at winning a jacket.

Me as well as 3 others in class figured out that the "D" in the "KD" means "DRY ONLY DUMBASS"

I did make post 2nd fastest time on friday and climb 14 spots into the trophies. All that while butchering my 1st and 3rd runs. If only we had 2 dry days, it would have been a LOT different......

On Thurs, Kiko Seibt ran a 64.8 on his 1st run in the pouring rain on the SO3s. He switched to the KDs on his 3rd run when the course started to dry out. He ran a 68.0. Also Brian Fitzpatrick was faster on his POS Toyo 1Ss then his 68.xx runs on his KDs. I told those guys not to switch to the KDs even though it was "drying out" but they didn't listen.
