Not all 32mm bars are the same....

Yep, without a doubt :).

The 30mm Blox FSB for the 06+ SI has about the same roll rate compared to the 32mm Eibach due to longer moment arms on the Eibach (and weighs 8lbs less). Perfect example of why comparing purely diameter is a poor way of figuring roll rate/performance.

Anything wrong with a 30mm whiteline? That's what I ordered through Janko today.

I like my eibach bar. It made a big difference.

Stephen, how many adjustment holes will they make?

Not sure, but I'm sure we could probably make a request there to get what we want.

Nitpicking I see... :poke:

Yes, an AP1 bumper bar must be cut on the corners to facilitate an AP2 bumper cover, otherwise it causes dimples to form in the plastic over time. See here: http://forums.s2kca.com/showpost.php?p= ... ostcount=9

So, technically this is illegal for STR? Would replacing the whole bumper bar with an AP2 part be legal?

If the rule book doesn't say you can do it, you can't do it, NOOB. :stick:

But I really doubt it will have any effect on how bad we all beat you, and I don't plan to protest you for it. And if anybody does, we should pee in his car.

i don't think modifying the bumper bar is legal unless it is "installed as directed by the manufacturer".

That being said, I have no plan's to protest you. the 2 ounces you shaved in weight is not going to make any measurable difference in were you finish. However the added weight from someone peeing in your car might.

2. It is listed in the vehicle manufacturer’s US accessory catalog for
that vehicle for normal highway use.
Parts must be installed as directed by the manufacturer. Exact repli-
cas (including weight) from alternate sources are also permitted.

Ha! You guys are forgetting Kevin has a long history of cheating. :? We should put in a preliminary protest on his car. I'm sure he has already changed at least five things that are illegal for STR.

My car is most likely going to be stock legal this year, in case I feel like running in stock class at some point. I want to make Les cry again next year, so I may need to put some R compounds on it if things start off slow on street tires.

Anybody know if modifying the gas pedal is stock legal?

You won't need R comps to beat Lesley. I beat him a couple times this year with street tires. :|

Well, this was brought up so I want to know. If I were to replace the AP1 bumper bar with an OEM, unmodified AP2 bar (which would presumably fit under the AP2 bumper cover), would that be legal under the update/backdate rules?

I agree it's pretty ridiculous to say the small bit of metal shaved off gives an unfair competitive advantage, but I just want to know for the sake of knowing.

And no car-peeing, please, under any circumstances.

Ninja edit:

Not legal to change to the AP2 support, rule states bumper cover only, can't change the support.
