An NB miata of any color that would be competitive with the fastest s2k's would be quite a build. I have read about people starting to develop them for STR but not one that was quite "there" yet.

Do tell Keith.

I still think a TRULY built NC miata would be killer for the s2k's.

Yup, Les guessed it. It is a 2003 Club Sport with 7,700 miles. That package gets you the soft top delete, no ac, no radio, no power steering. Oh did I mention they only made 25 soft top delete Club Sports ever. :D. Weight will be under 2200lbs with roughly 150 whp in STR trim from I have figured out.

I think it's a very cool packaged car. I hope you get it Keith!

One of 25 Keith? There's something very cool about numbered cars for some weird reason. Good luck with the purchase!

I picked up my STR car today and just spend about 2.5 hours getting it up to my obsessive standards of cleanliness.
It's going to be very awesome to know that at every event this year, STR will have more than a handful of people to race and improve with.

I've spent the past month getting mine down to my standards of cleanliness.

I do plan to keep it pretty clean, though, since it's all gimped up anyway, with 2wd and hardly any ground clearance, and won't be able to do gravel properly.

Wow. 7700 miles!! You are not allowed to race, modify, or molest it in any way.
