The other option is that if you have enough people interested to actually man the event but not enough to break even, just raise the entrance fee.

Count Judi and I in for an extra $5-10 each if that helps.

We definitely have enough people to physically make the event happen, so at this point it's just about the money.

I'll pay a little extra to make sure we have the event - I mean, I'm getting 20 "free" runs on Saturday, anyway...

I bet that even if you just go ahead and have the event, but don't make the entry fee higher and ask for donations at the event to make it break even, you'll end up with a jar full of money.

Yeah, I'm thinking this may be the route to go, its actually fair even since with so few people we will be getting lots of runs.

we have basically 30 drivers right now. My concerns are the costs for this event.

That's 850 in hard costs. Assuming that everyone pays, as in no free passes for staff that normally receive a pass and at 25 per head, that's only 750, so we're still out some bucks.

If everyone agrees to 25 per head preregistered and 30 for any walkups, I'm good to go, but ONLY if everyone agrees to the $25 for all drivers. I also say get in as many runs as you can. We'll need a minimum course that's easy to cover. Everyone will have to work, no passes this event.

If we all agree to this, then let's roll. I'd like to see how the mini drives myself.

Agreed on the 25/30. But you might consider a second pj... remember the gift you were left last time?

We run things fine at rallyxes with 25-30 people. We can run this autox like a rallyx - minimal cones marking the course, 4-5 worker stations, work twice, break for lunch and still get 8 runs each.

If it won't work financially with that many, then nevermind.

i might actually come out if ya'll can commit to this game plan.

cones suck. 8)

Then per-register so we can up the count a bit more.

All talk and no action

Wish I could make it. With the old job ending Friday and the new one starting Monday, I need a getaway vacation :). Plus I need to force Ram to drive that 'garage queen' :).
