It's time to sign up for NCCAR folks!!!! We always complain about not having any new sites- now we have one. It will be a fun event cause I am an event chair.

Well, I'm having a heck of a time trying to extract all the email addresses from the registration list. So, the most important thing I'd like to share is the temporary gate code that will be in effect for the next 48 hours or so.

The NCCAR gate code for the weekend event will be 14725#. The right hand entry gate will start beeping on the correct code entry, will open and stay open for 30 seconds and then close.
The exit gate opens automatically as vehicles approach (there is an inductive pick-up in the shoulder) - this one only stays open for 8 seconds.

For the large influx of participants, we can just de-power the entry gate once open. The gate code will change after Saturday's event.

Of course the weather's looking iffy so bring appropriate gear. :thumbsup:

Sorry the rain dampened the turnout. The enthusiasm was in full force though! Enjoyed the course--thanks to Rob and Kendt, the veeps and GM for a great event!

FYI I "donated" my early entry fee even though I canceled yesterday.

Yeah, I really don't understand the low attendance.....no other autox or track events going on. The weather wasn't looking too bad till 3-4 days before the event.

It was a very fun course....I think I learned a bit of 'guts' from last week's triad event after watching Ram do things I didn't think the car was capable of

Even in the wet, the surface has good grip. The course was great fun. KUDOS to Kendt and Rob for their hard work.

I decided to do the tarwheel mtb race. It's rare that we have a race with 60 degree weather. I couldn't resist.
