Not the best camera angle or quality but I forgot the good camera at home. According to Harry's lap timer I was about .75 seconds faster than my clean run before the spin.

Not bad Ryan, but I don't think it compares to my finish on my last run. If only the finish gate was a foot wider.

Bravo indeed!

I had one similar to that one except for I came a foot or so from taking out the timing head.

Looks like all your inputs were nice and smooth until you jerked the wheel on that last right. IMO, if you hadn't done that you would have made it. Still, nice style points for the sideways finish!

Don't know if I was walking back to paddock during your 3rd or 4th run, but how the heck did you manage to hit the 2nd of 4 cones on the outside wall of the middle lane change of the last element? I ran out and put it back for the corner worker called it in, but damn, you couldn't do that again for money! :whoknows:

I wish I had video, because it happened so fast that I don't have a coherent memory. All of a sudden I was sideways, with no clue how I got there. I know the rear tires are shot, but holy crap, sometimes that Elise makes my Spyder look tame!

If you noticed the lane changes the set-up guys must have been drinking while they were setting up the course so the middle cone might have been sticking out so it is possible. :toast:

I didn't know you could change an airbagged steering wheel in ST - is it ok because it was replaced with an airbagged wheel? I love that steering wheel, btw - I put one from a Version 5 WRX in my rallyx wagon (which is the same as the US WRX but with a different logo design in the middle).

And nice spin. :D

Well even if the cones were straight, after you ran through the course, they wouldn't be anymore ;).

actually James i beg to differ, i am relatively sure that the offset placement of the cones unneccesarily increased my cone count. were they lined up straight i would have only wiped out alternating walls in the lane changes.

now that fu****g ridiculous 86 cone slalom, well i have no excuse other than the fastest way thru that was right down the middle. and there was no transition to the CHI Box. that Bitch was just there.

but ohhh my gaaaaaaahhhhwwwd was the lefthand sweeper sweet. ........
