They mention how it will be scored? Top 10 PAX as always? If so I *think* we're looking better than we have the last few years from a PAX standpoint.

It really annoyed me yesterday to see some Triad members with their "2010 NCAC champions" stickers. It didn't bother me to see the ones who had actually won their class with the sticker, but to see the rest of the club with them pissed me off a bit. Lets get it back.

I know I'll be there, and so will Brantley. It'll be my first time at the NCAC (I always seem to have a schedule conflict, but not this year). I managed a 3rd overall PAX at their event this weekend (and wasn't very happy with my driving), so I feel I can finally contribute this year.

I think with Matt's car, Brice's car, my car, Stephen Westerfield's, Mike Miller's, Noah's, Zach's, Keith Q's etc, we can get at least 10 drivers with those vehicles via codrives that would be quite competitive from a PAX standpoint :).

Just as an FYI Brice those stickers were handed out to all Triad members after the NCAC last year. Honestly as a member of both clubs and I have been since I moved down here in 2004, animosity between the clubs really annoys the crap out of me as I have friends in both clubs. A friendly competition between clubs is fine but you shouldn't be getting pissed off by something as small as a sticker.

Now back to the topic at hand. I am very excited that the NCAC is at Z Max this year as the site is the best in the state so it is only fitting that the state championship is settled at the best site. As for how the club cup is being decided upon it has not been announced yet.

Its not like I started a fight over it or anything. I suppose my post made it sound like it annoyed me more than it did. I DO think its kind of lame to put a sticker on your car as an NCAC champion if that car didn't win anything, but thats beside the point. People put stickers on cars representing things that they aren't all the time. There were quite a few people who had them on cars that were indeed the 2010 NCAC champs in their respective class. A sticker for winning the club cup is kinda lame IMO though.

Lets just say it "lit a fire", and got me pumped up about the NCAC this year.

I certainly like a lot of the people in both clubs as well. I like running with both clubs, and find it really unfortunate that the schedules seem to overlap so much this year.

Glad to hear we have some people fired up for NCAC this year and I agree we are gonna stand a better chance than we have in awhile. If the scoring is entirely based on PAX maybe I should try and get a co-drive in something a bit more PAX friendly, though I don't seem to be capable of hoping in a stock class car and driving it worth a hoot.

This is such a great venue for the NCAC, glad that they decided to hold it there. I'm also looking forward to DOMINATION.

One of the ideas I floated last year was to abandon the club cup altogether. Many people I spoke to about it thought it was time to move on. Unfortunately, when I tried to get some momentum behind the idea, it was dismissed.

I agree, i don't see a point in have a "club cup". The point should for individuals to win their class in the NCAC, who cares which club they are members of. Lots of people are members of more than one anyway.

If you made it a club "piss cup", I'm sure nobody would want it.

Just sayin'.

Please don’t count on B Stock or C Stock to be PAX machines, they just aren’t, 0.839 and 0.833. We need to fill the ranks with GS and HS.

I really enjoy running with Triad, they tend to have a little different slant on setting up a course than Tarheel. When Jinx sets up a course, I tend to learn something, usually the hard way. Running both clubs is good preparation. I don’t feel that there is any animosity when I run in their club. We’ve got to stop being just a “bunch of sensitive guys”.
