Hmmm, sounds like I need to pick up a sling shot to return said golf balls to the driving range. Wouldn't want them to loose any.

Potato gun....doesn't Mike Whitney have an insane one?

Many people said they won't be registering (and paying of course) till closer to the event. Seems a double edge sword since, yes they don't need staff to do registration/money collecting/infrastructure the morning of the events, but they also don't know how many people are coming until probably the week prior.

OK, so, just curious. I guess that means they aren't going to accept walk-ups. Also, (and I haven't looked at the registration page) I heard that you can't declare your club until you arrive-so-if there's no registration on site, to whom do you declare? Lastly, what if you need to make changes to your entry, if you were to change cars or class? This will be interesting.

Yes, no registration on site. The day of, you go to the 'check in' station, declare your club, get your barcode sticker and leave is my understanding. I'm sure this is where you'd change your class/car/number if need be.

I thought about that, but then I'd have to bring the potato. I'd much rather just give them their golf balls back.

I signed up in Pro class like a dum-dum (instead of just GS) and after a few minute figured out that you have to change your profile under the settings.

Good news for the slackers, straight from the Sandbox forum: :D
Just got word the deadline for the discount hotel rate has been extended to the 20th.

I actually meant what if you need to make changes once you arrive on site, but it's good to know how to modify entries on line as well. Thanks.

Made our hotel reservations today at Sleep Inn, but holding off on entering until closer to the date.

Okay, I've registered the beast for this, so its guaranteed it will blow up or something else will go wrong and she won't make it.

Registration is looking pretty light especially for THSCC, I'd really like to see more of us registered.

I'm thinking that you will see more next week. Having to pay to complete the entry has held some of us off until the last week.

So how does that work for the overall competition? Sum of the two days best runs?

Best run on each day, like a regional/national event!
