Just emailed both HSSC and CCR about if the driving range golf ball issue has been resolved, or will be addressed for that weekend of NCAC.

huh?

Noah and Ram's cars got hit by golf balls from the neighboring driving range at the February event.

There was also suspicion it might have been malicious as well given the angle of the driving range (ie asshole kids purposely aiming for the pits parking area instead of straight ahead).

so I've registered for the NCAC, interesting that you can't complete registration until you pay. I guess that's one way to make sure you're coming. Not a ton of drivers signed up so far.

I am looking to share a room w/ someone. If you have a room and need a room mate for Friday and Sat, please let me know. If you want to share a room I can go ahead and reserve one. Let me know....

Lot of people mentioned that on the CCR forums and HSCC forums. They will not have any on site registration at all so I guess its necessary.

Many people said they won't be registering (and paying of course) till closer to the event. Seems a double edge sword since, yes they don't need staff to do registration/money collecting/infrastructure the morning of the events, but they also don't know how many people are coming until probably the week prior.

Yeah, it would be OK it my card didn't get charged until about a week before, but I'm waiting til probably the 25th to register us.

Unfortunately Shane has informed me that the driving range is saying zMax needs to make the nets taller and zMax is saying that the driving range needs to do _____.

My advice is to get there early and pit as close to the edge of the nets as possible....or as far from it (next to the wall).

Hmmm, sounds like I need to pick up a sling shot to return said golf balls to the driving range. Wouldn't want them to loose any.

OK, so, just curious. I guess that means they aren't going to accept walk-ups. Also, (and I haven't looked at the registration page) I heard that you can't declare your club until you arrive-so-if there's no registration on site, to whom do you declare? Lastly, what if you need to make changes to your entry, if you were to change cars or class? This will be interesting.
