Ok, good news. I just got off the phone with the manager of the Flying Saucer and they don't really have anything booked tomorrow night. So we have the 'back room' to ourselves starting at 6:30 on and I told him 18-20ish would be the best bet. I requested two waitresses and he said that's not a problem too.

It's only five miles down 85 to 485 to Tryon and the address is 9605 N. Tryon St. Suite A
Charlotte, NC 28262. http://www.beerknurd.com/stores/charlotte/

BTW, they have a few selections to choose from too, especially this time of year. :P http://www.beerknurd.com/stores/charlotte/beer

While this is true, I think you still have to go through the tech line for a sticker. At least that's the norm.

Right, but I was thinking Jeremy could drop the car and trailer off at ZMax and still be able to register at the hotel. No?!?

At least thats how I read it... :?

I guess that depends on if they require you to go through tech before registration. If not, you could just register Friday night and then tech Saturday morning.

Speaking of Frank, I thought of you the other day when I got behind a beat to hell old pick up truck in Morrisville that easily had more different colored body panels on it than your Miata and the license plate read "Frank".

Just saw the coursemaps...looks to be entertaining! Sorry they are so low res..would be useful to translate some of those distances.

Here is the response I got from Shane regarding course walking Friday night.

Yes. The site is open until 5pm. I can't guarantee what time it will be
finished, but everyone's welcome to walk it until zMAX closes.

Given the events I've done at zmax, I'd say a TIR-DS car will be 75+s.......those are some long courses.....hopefully reruns and overlap is not a concern.

My camera ate my fifth run (too bad, it was my fastest), so I'm just posting this to give folks who aren't here a feel for the course. Sorry about the wind noise!
