I counted 19. When you take into account it's at one of the best sites in the state, an awesome course designer, and perfect weather, I don't blame folks for staying home.

I consider you a traitor due to how few events you've made it to this year :).

From Shane with HSCC:

Quote:
-------------------------------------------------------

With only 4 days to go, we have some last minute updates and changes to tell you about. PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE IN ITS ENTIRETY. If you know of someone who is planning to attend but does not check message boards or email and is unlikely to see this, please pass it along to them.

On-Site Payment:
It has come to our attention that requiring online payments, for a variety of reasons, could potentially prevent some drivers from attending. It is not at all our intention to exclude people so we have decided to take payments at the event during the following times: 6:00-8:00pm during Friday check-in at the hotel and Saturday morning 7:00-8:00am. If you would like to pay at the event, you STILL NEED TO REGISTER ONLINE so we can get an accurate count for splitting up rungroups. If you need help with the online registration system, please email Shane Eudy at m3 at highlandssportscarclub.com or call him at 828-280-7995 and he will be happy to assist you. If, for some reason, you or someone you know absolutely cannot register online (maybe you don't have access to a computer or something) we still want you to come. Those people should contact (or have someone else contact) Shane at the email or phone # above and provide the following information: First & Last Name, Class & Number, Car, Car Color, and Club Affiliation. That way we can get you into the computer. And again, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact Shane or any other HSCC officer.

To all those who have already paid online, thank you. We realize that changing out policy on payments at the last minute will piss off some who have already spent the money. Please accept our sincere apology. This is a very big and expensive event for such a small club like Highlands, and a significant amount of money had to be paid out weeks ago, hence the reason for requiring prepayment. We hope that everyone will be understanding and again, big thanks to everyone who has already paid.

Sat/Sun Only Registration:
If you plan to attend only one day, you can register and pay on-site Friday 6-8pm at the hotel, Saturday 7-8am, or Sunday 9-10am.

Club Affiliation:
We did not have this available when we first opened registration, but we have now added a field for Club Affiliation to the online system. If you have already registered, please log into your account and edit your registration to include which club you plant to compete for in the Club Cup. Problems or questions......you should know who to contact by now.

Saturday Night Social Event:
We have rented 3 campsites at the campground next to zMAX for a Saturday evening social event. Basically it's just an informal party, a good chance to catch up with your fellow autox buddies and talk smack. We are working on provide some food/snacks but because of liability issues, alcohol is strictly BYOB.

Thank you for your attention and your cooperation. We look forward to see you at the event!
