Sound like a vote is soon to come then. I guess it's really up to most of the TIR competitors whether or not a mid-season change is wanted, otherwise we can go to the drawing board in the offseason.

Please, don't take away X class! In all seriousness, I think Karl and I were the only ones who had enough events to trophy.

Good luck with setup today y'all! I wish I wasn't working for the man today.

An ST adjustment is even dumber than having a TIR class. Good grief, just keep the tire class.

And changing the classes or the way we score things in the middle of the season is dumb too.

Yeah, definitely will not be a mid season thing.

For this to be anywhere near fair it would have to be class by class IMO. CSP for instance you're going from 225 RS-3s to 275 A6s, DS may be similar I know Jim runs somewhere around there on his Integra. But then in FS you can get street tires in about the same widths as the r-comps. (I believe this is true, I haven't been keeping a close eye on 17/18" tires anymore) That is a huge grip difference. Do we really want to manage a class by class index for street tires vs r-comps. It would be nice to be able to run in class if I did something like flat spot a v710 and couldn't get a new one in time or if I somehow cord them before the end of the year.

Can I get a special index for running stock class with stock shocks too?

What happens to your "correction factor" when Hoosier introduces a new, faster R Comp? or Dunlop unleashes a killer new 140+ treadwear tire?

Does this mean your headed back to STR (from X)?

I'll run STR next time. Riding with Marcus on sunday has re-affirmed that me being slower than him and Zach has nothing to do with the car and everything to do with the driver. Besides, it's more fun to compare raw times than some "index".

Well, the #1 reason I changed classes was the dwindling lack of entries in STR. If the class continues to grow like it has been so far this year, there's a good chance you'll see me back there. ;)

Marcus, you know that means I'll need my magnets back... :poke:

The internet needs a sarcasm font. :deadhorse:

Those magnets. Remember? One is in the shape of an 'S,' one in the shape of a 'T,' and the last one, I can't quite remember... Oh yeah! It's an 'R.'

Dagnabit I just bought T, I, R magnets because everybody is running in tire class and now I have to get an S magnet. I went TIR because it sounded fun to chase Jeremy and Carlton but if all of the S2K's are heading to STR then I guess Ill head that way since I aint catching up with Carlton any time soon.
