... can they be given the passcodes to be allowed to sign in? They have sent their checks off, but they haven't been voted in at a meeting yet.

I ask this as the Danville autoX is kinda far to travel to and not be let in. Furthermore, I would just like to have a concrete answer on this so if I am asked about it in the future, I have a definite answer.

Currently, I have been tight lipped and told them that I would jsut ask and see. What is the official word?

Yes you can give them the codes as long as you are sure they have submitted their application. I don't think we have ever not approved a new member app.

Although too many more of those damn Subaru drivers and we might start denying a few!

Well, if EVERYONE who is already in the club is going to run TIR, I have to get fresh meat that will run in their actual class so I can get a larger showing in STX!!! :)

You so should stop recruiting other people... you recruit people in and then they start killling you... thats just bad... just as Whitnety who recruited him.

We have turned down a new member app in the 90s. A guy who worked for the EPA, drove a Porsche, and gave us a very low number check. He was turned down. Vance Swift member #7 was also turned down several times before he became a member.

Fair enough.

Well, I will personally vouch for the guy, and if you dont like his check number, or something to that degree, I will present Cash to pay for his membership.

Thanks for all the responses as I like to see a wideband respresentation of our club speak up in the forums.
