Hi Everyone.

The morning of points event 3, we will be hosting the EV challenge autocross from 9am-11am.

We told EV that we'd help with not only course working, but riding along with the students as well to help them with some of the basics of autocrossing.

We are looking for volunteers to do this: work the course and instruction. There might be a few other odd ball jobs too.

Please respond if you are willing to get there early on Sunday to help. Our autocross will start at noon and there will be a quick rework of the course at 11am and then it will be open for course working so volunteers need to plan accordingly.

Volunteers will get free entry to the event that morning.

List:

James
Noah
Zach
Matt
Rob
Jason
Brice
Mary
Kendt
Ram
Jeff
Kevin
Liz
Ryan Hill
Les
Rodney

I'm in and looking forward to seeing the entries for sure. I'll be there whatever time we're allowed into the site that morning.

I'll be working Saturday though, so I won't be able to do setup unfortunately. :(

Unless it looks like it may rain, or be too cold, or too hot, or overcast.....

As in there no later than 8:30am. We'll need time to get people organized.

Shouldn't be an issue. count me in if you want. I can give them guidance in the best way to hit cones... or whatever else you will ask of me.

Since I'll already be there from driving the bus up, I might as well. Put my wife down as tentative (she'll probably do it, but I haven't asked her yet).

I'm in - Sunday only.

What's the hotel situation around NCCAR? I'm going to check out LeMons at CMP on Sat, so will probably get a hotel near NCCAR Sat and/or Sun night.

Looks like most of the hotels are in Roanoke Rapids close by. I'm guessing me and the wife will end up in the Hampton.

There is a Best Western at the same exit (176) as NCCAR. 1 exit prior (173) is a TON of hotels/stuff.

We got a reservation at the Hampton. I am going to try and meet with Judy before Brice and I head to St. Johns to get the hang of the registration/computer stuff so I can help run registration on the 22nd when everyone is gone for Lemons. I will glad to help work in the bus (timing and scoring or whatever is needed) in the morning for the SMARTT car challenge as well.
