Once again, thanks for the encouragement fellow 'Heelers!

Looking back now, I'm realizing that so much of autocross is really being comfortable, prepared and just trusting your instincts and good habits you've worked hard to develop on course once you take off. If you're not somewhat relaxed and ill-prepared (for example not enough coursewalks or worrying too much about a long drive home) the odds are against you to drive your best.
I'm really glad Gwen and Jim recommended participating in the Test and Tune the day before. It was the best $10 I've spend on 4 runs ever just to get the jitters out and the 'mold release' on the Ho-Ho although I still don't know what it is. I certainly needed it because on a 23 second out and back, I managed to unofficially DNF two of them because I was so nervous about the new tires and shocks. Oooops! Good thing I knew it wasn't going to be indicative of the whole weekend, or so I hoped. Whew!
Anyhow, I'm totally hooked and actually enjoyed the long drive back just to wind down from all the action.
Ditto on Chuck's statements and big thanks again Jim about the advice on course walking, where to be when, and not to overthink and allow my mind get in the way of my driving. That was a fun time for sure!!!
