So we need to get the bus there on Saturday and back on Sunday. Are there any plans in place already, and if not, can we get a volunteer?

Thanks.

Some guy named Kevin Allen said he was driving the bus. PM him to confirm.

If it comes to my house after the rallyx, I'll drive it to Sanford. But I won't be driving it back to Apex afterward.

would we be able to get the bus closer to raleigh then Kevin's place (would prefer cary or wake forest even) and can I leave my truck wherever I would hypothetically be picking up and dropping off the bus?

The bus is currently sitting at my house.

Let the betting begin as to who get the honor of being the last driver of this old bus to an event.

Since I still don't have my short block for my vette will clearly not be ready for 3/20 and even 4/16 might be a challenge. I could theoretically drive the bus if I had a co-drive in another car. I'm the GM anyways, so I'll need to be there on setup day. Brice has volunteered, but maybe we should save him for future events? So any co-drive offers? I promise to try really hard not to hit any signs or miss-shift/overrev. Obviously I'd like something that I could be competitive in SSM for season points purposes. Another potential I have is my Miata, however I don't have any wheels with race rubber for it. Any folks with broken Miatae and some nice fresh sticky tires 255s preferred.

Ignore the mud covering the bus/trailer. We were told it's a selling point.

Is this directed at me? :)

Sorry only got 225s (and a co-driver already). I'm pretty sure I'll be back together for the 20th though, CHS said they would have the head done in few days. Once I get it back it'll only take me a few hours to get the car running again. If it's not back together I'm heading down in the Goat with no room for tires.

Partially, however didn't I see though in your other thread that you have bustified pistons as well? Do you already have a spare short block your gonna put in? I'm not sure who all is running CSP Miata this year but I had the impression there were many and I thought there was more than one broken one. Is Kendt the only one running the 255s? I'm actually kinda curious to see I have still "have it" at a THSCC event with the ole' Miata or have I been spoiled with the torks? I've only auto-crossed it twice in the past 4 years and that was with a very different group so I lacked bench marks, I used to be able to wheel a Miata pretty good though.

I think I'm the only one with a busted Miata currently. Kendt ran 255s last year, not sure about this year, maybe he'll step up to 275s and crush us all. :) I have a spare bottom end that should be ready to roll.

Come play in CSP there are going to be a ton of people in it this year. Jeremy, Kendt, Rob, Jonell (on street tires), me, Laura, Wendy?, whoever is co-driving Jeremy's car?, O'Connells?. I'm sure I'm missing someone or someones. Is Courtney coming back to CSP?

No need to worry about "saving me". Assuming I get my car back together this week, I will have a codriver for every event, so I really don't mind driving it. Frankly, I don't think its that bad, and I like the free event and hotel room that comes with it. I'll try and volunteer to drive it as much as I can. Chris lives close to me, so its not really an inconvenience at all.

Courtney is going to be str full time this year. John Byers is codriving with me this year. Still unsure if Wendy is gonna run open or ladies class this year. Csp is shaping up to be a good class this year, now if i can just get the car running like i want it to.
