The balancer not have the correct 'offset' to stay inline with the accessories?

Yeah, I was amused by that as well, its like the camera was shaking in fear. I didn't expect that since the camera was sitting on the Miata hood like 40' away and zoomed in. I think that car has to measure at least a 3.5 on the Richter Scale.

Yeah, its an alignment issue, though I'm thinking and had my thoughts confirmed today by the engine builder that I probably just don't have it pressed on far enough. Hopefully I can get it on a little further without pulling the motor somehow.

Yeah, she might be pretty ferocious if I can fix this belt jumping off problem, get the rest of the drivetrain back in, get it broken in, get it dyno tuned all without engine grenading. It was definitely a good sign seeing the thing actually fire up and make no bad noises though, after all the trouble I've had with it, it was encouraging for sure. Encouraging enough that it caused me to drop $1350 on a new set of V710s yesterday. :shock:

Well, I think Bernie will probably continue to win the "Loud-off", I'm a "tree hugger" I suppose because I run a couple Magnaflow spun cats and glasspacks. I do drive the car to/from events and DD sometimes, true street mod car. I hope it makes a nice raucous melody for all though.
