Ummmm, you folks wanna start registering or something? 16 folks is going to be mighty thin at L'burg.

+1

C'mon sign up folks if you think you'd like to come out and get some great seat time in before the first event. Last year was pretty awesome with two courses and fairly quick run intervals, should you not need to tweak the car.

For those folks that have never done a test-n-tune but have thought about it, they're really a good way to work on different techniques to make you quicker (looking ahead, turning in early, getting back on the throttle earlier, not upsetting the car...) without worrying about an official time or cone penalties. Even if you're not necessarilly testing stuff like shocks or tire pressures, the seat time is beneficial just due to more familiarity with your car, plus it's fun!

It's looking like it's going to be around 60 and sunny on Sunday.

We are still in need of a bus driver, so please consider doing so. Remember, entry fee is waived and you get a hotel room for Saturday night.

Where is the bus? I might be able to get it there on Sat if someone can take it after the event.

Signed up.... since they cancelled the Lemons VIR "rust off" this Friday due to an abundance of cold whiny lemons wusses, I'll probably drag the Lemons dog down for the team to test.

Update: 2/8/11

With the cancellation of the VIR Lemons testing, the plan is to split off and incorporate a designated area at Laurinburg to brush off the dust (while retaining all body panels, other components & fluids :sing: ) for the Lemons cars so sign up and come on out if interested.

More details to come very soon.

No need....Maxton has enough gravel and debris on the tarmac. All we need is a broom and a dust pan. :)

Hey folks, if you intend to bring a Lemons/Chump car down for testing, please let me know ASAP - the level of interest will determine the logistics, type of course, etc.... so this is important. Please post to THIS THREAD if you'll be coming with a Lemons/Chump car.

Looks like Grim Reaper is OUT according to an e-mail from Mark. Our car (Magnum, PU Prelude) is ready so we don't need to test either.

Another call for volunteers!

We'll need two volunteers for gate duty which is just getting folks to sign in and get a wristband when coming into the Golden Knights entrance. Any takers?
