Hi all. This is what we have at the moment. As you can see, we could not work out anything with Greenville given the ownership changes. Les can comment on the details if needed:

TnT: 2/13 Laurinburg : (GM: Matt, ECs: Maria and Kevin)
Points #1: 3/20 Sanford : (GM: Les, ECs:Liz Cordara and Kevin Allen)
Points #2: 4/16-4/17 Laurinburg (Novice School on Saturday) : (GM: James, ECs: Rob and Brice)
Points #3: 5/22 NCCAR: (GM: Les, ECs: Zach Hill and Noah Fleming)
Points #4: 6/26 Danville : (GM: Matt, ECs: James Short, Matt McGrain, Marcus McVtec )
Points #5: 7/16-17 Sanford - Jimmy V Charity event (GM: James, ECs: Jeremy Christian and Ram Vennam)
Points #6: 8/21 Sanford : (GM: Les, ECs: John and Jeremy)
Points #7: 9/17 NCCAR: (GM: Matt, ECs: Kendt and Rob)
Points #8: 10/23 Danville : (GM: James, ECs: James and Ram )
Non Points: 11/6 Laurinburg : (GM: Les, ECs: Kevin and )

We are still working out details on possibly 2 day weekends (Jimmy V or an 'old school' THSCC event where both days count towards the overall points event...ie same course both days).

Hopefully this helps some people to get dates/weekends on the schedule.

A couple things to add to kick things off to have another great year of autocrossing action:

Event Chairs:We'll need two for each event as always and remember that you get a free entry and the fun part is you get to design the course. It's not that tough (Zoombies was my first event last year) and you get to incorporate the elements that YOU like to see and practice. ::seven cone slalom..cough...cough:: Don't be afraid to volunteer and you'd be paired up with some who's chaired before. It's fun!

Bus Drivers:
As always we have to get the bus out to the events so we'll need someone to help us out on that receiving a free entry to the event as well.

Points Event #6 or Points event #8 Jeremy Gast and I would love to jump in and be an Event Chair. I have lots of ideas brewing away in my head.

I'll do the one that is in conjunction with the Novice school. I can probably work out a bus driving down to the event on the Friday before too.

Or maybe just combine it with the AX. "On this slalom, I thee wed" You can say your vows at the starting line, we'll tie cans on a string behind your car (maybe that will slow you down) and we get to decorate your car. You may also be slowed down by the bachelor party and liquor that we will give you the night before. :D

My wife and I will help out with rob for the novice school weekend. I will be able to drive the bus for the Sanford events for sure. If I can get my car put back together I would be glad to do it for a couple more events too. I think the plan is for my wife and I to drive the same car for most events which makes me an obvious choice.

Just move the wedding to Danville. You can stop by after the reception to make your runs. I'm sure your competitors will let you skip your worker assignment that day :)

<BORING OLD STORY>
Way back when, newlywed NCAC ES champ Doug Matre and his bride dropped in on that day's NCAC event at Carowinds [we used to have 8 NCAC autocrosses per year]. Each made one run in Doug's Integra. Despite being encumbered by her wedding gown, Susan logged the faster time. The event chair probably shouldn't have let Doug drive that day.

We actually attended Anthony and Suzanne Hodges wedding at a "Wedding AutoX" at the Danville site several years ago. Pastor, best man, bride's maids, the works. The bride and groom wore fire suits.

x2

That's also Lemons Weekend. We'll lose drives and spouses of drivers that weekend. Also anyone who just wants to go watch Lemons.

We went from 5/15 to 5/22 to avoid the NCCAR event. So it seems we now have to pick the better of two evils ;).
