I finally got the package from Jinx Jordan yesterday and I was thinking that maybe we could hold two schools on the first weekend in April at Danville. 1 Competition school and 1 Extreme School. The costs would be in the range:

Comp:$195-$270

Extreme: $250-$300

I think this would bring the best value for THSCC and hit more people's needs (at a lower out of pocket cost)

I need Rodney or one of the Autox VP's to get in touch with me at b1mmer@aol.com to talk about costs for the club and viability of doing this. I plan to run the coordination of everything, so it should be minimal impact to THSCC.

If you have interest level in one or both of these, post here.

I plan to do both. The plan would be a Comp School on Saturday and the Extreme on Sunday.

For reference to the programs, see: www.soloprodrivingschool.com

Thanks - AB

Well shucks, I've only done one event since the last school, but I have all these half-used Hoosiers to get rid of, and I'm a disaster in the new car... count me as a maybe for both days. :D

Count me as a maybe for at least the comp, possibly both. There is a lot pending (having a car to do it in is one of them) but it sounds like a ton of good seat time.

Is the first weekend in April set in stone? The conflict with TH VIR-N is the only thing keeping me from going.

While it's not set in stone, I was trying to give people a weekend between autocross events. Triad has an event 2 weeks before and THSCC has a school and event two weeks after.

If there are others with conflicts due to VIR-N, let me know. I think April 9/10 is also a possibility. - AB

The autocross schedule is already available? Didn't see it on the website.

No, it's not. I just remember that Zach commented on a novice school on 4/16 which usually is followed up with an autocross the following day. - AB

I will actually be at VIR as well. I didn't realize the date conflict when I first posted.

Aaron, I'm interested in the 1-day Extreme, but it will depend on a few things.

Any update on the date? I'm nailing down the season calendar.

I can commit to register now if I can make it.

I'm definitely interested, and sounds like Comp School would be right up my alley.

Any update on when they will be held? I'm very interested, but would like to have a date stamped on my calendar so I don't schedule anything else that conflicts.
