There is a triad event on April 4th. As much as I hate to go do a triad event, I'm so short on seat time its not funny.

Its in the Pyramid Village Complex though. I've never heard of this site, but it just *sounds* small. Anyone ever been there or have any idea about it?

Also, how bad was that Cloverleaf site? VMSC has an event this day as well, but right now the 1 hour drive to gboro is looking much better if the lots are comparable.

I just have to figure out how to fenagle 2 entries in and get 8 runs

I don't know about the lot but at one time Triad let you pay twice and take your 2nd set of runs as fun runs.

I think at one point you could actually enter (and win) 2 different classes.

The Cloverleaf site isn't huge and tends to be sandy, but they have good elevation changes which can result in interesting off/on camber features. According to the VMSC message board, they're planning on posting a course map before the event as well.

This is the "Pyramid Village" lot, formerly known as Carolina Circle Mall just off of 29 and this is the Cloverleaf site.

You might want to wiggle those around to see more parking lot areas.

Looks like a friggin huge lot!

I was told by Kevin Hoff on nasioc that the lot is REALLY gritty though. Makes sanford look like topeka.

There is a SCR-SCCA region event at Laurens on saturday so I'll be going down there. I might try to catch the sunday event at greensboro the next day as well.

I was just repeating what I read on the Triad list as I haven't been to that site myself.

Considering it's close by, I may head out there and check out the grit. Cloverleaf Mall is kind of a hike, but that's a possibility too. - AB

I coudn't find directions ANYWHERE on their site. I got an atlas and looked to see about how far it was. It's over 200 miles from Fayetteville! And I thought Laurinburg (3 hours for me) was far.

Have fun guys...that's too far for me. :(

You da man. I figure on heading down there Friday afternoon and staying the night. I will NOT be eating any Harris Teeter chicken the night before the event either :o

It would be nice to see the entry list.
