Just wanted to say thanks to Rodney, Gwenn, Bernie, Charlie and I guess Matt for making this a great event.

Perfect weather, 5 runs, and an hour of fun runs makes for a pretty darn fun day of autox.

Marcus and Matt:

That was a great course design. It is probably my favorite of any course that I can remember at Danville. I usually can tell when I will hate a course when I walk it, but seldom know I will like it from the first walk. This was different, I knew I would like the course. It was fast but had places where you had to figure out what to do - the turn around at the end of the runway.

Good job

Interesting Rob, with me, I thought the course was going to be lame after walking and it turned out to be really fun (and faster than it looked).

Good job Marcus/Matt.

Results are up. Can someone send the dashplaque image to webmaster@thscc.com? If there's a coursemap we'll take that too.

BTW we don't have dashplaques for any autox since July, so we'll take them too if anyone's got them handy...

Kind of ironic that the event chairs were #1 and #2 in overall PAX :).

Cheaters. I heard they did about 50 runs on setup day.

Just wanted to say - remember how you all drove during the fun runs? Do that on the 14th. Don't bring this crappy, "I'm going to try to go slow to be fast" f*****y-a$$ bulls**t to our FOR FUN non-points event. I want to see people pushing it to the edge, and well over the edge. Take James Short for example. He was much more entertaining (and fast) during fun runs than during competition. That's what we want to see.

Got mine up on youtube already. Also see a few more TIR videos up there.

Searching for "THSCC" and sorting by uploaded date is my top way to find videos from recent events.

...and the moral of this story is be an event chair! New season coming up folks! BTW, I did some "safety runs" and still suffered a beat down.

Come on now. If it wasn't for Rodney being a good sport and urging me/us on at the start line, I wouldn't have done was well :). Thanks Rodney. Next year, it would be in your best interest if you trashtalk at the starting line instead :).
